Add Money From Card to Nagad

To ensure fast and improved service for the customers, the Digital Financial Service of Bangladesh Post Office – ‘Nagad’ has brought the “Add Money” feature. Now if ‘Nagad’ Account runs out of balance, there is no reason to worry. You can “Add Money” to your or anyone else’s ‘Nagad’ Account from any bank’s Visa or MasterCard without any charge whenever you wish.

You can “Add Money” up to 5 times and up to 30,000 taka daily to your or other ‘Nagad’ Accounts from any bank’s Visa or MasterCard. In this way, you can “Add Money” up to 25 times and up to a total of 200,000 taka per month. If your first Add Money amount is 500 taka to up to 30,000 taka.

How to “Add Money” from Visa or MasterCard to ‘Nagad’ Account:

  • Tap the ‘Add Money’ icon from ‘Nagad’ app home screen
  • Select Visa or MasterCard by tapping ‘Card to Nagad’
  • Select the number where you want to Add money
  • Then enter the amount of money
  • Enter your Visa or MasterCard number, validity, and CVN number (3 or 4-digit verification code on the back of the card). If you want, you can save the card information for the convenience of the next transaction
  • Complete the transaction using the OTP code sent to your mobile number
  • You will receive a confirmation notification if the “Add Money” is successful

If the e-commerce payment option is not enabled on the user’s card, then the user may not be able to use the “Add Money” feature. In this case, the customer needs to activate the e-commerce payment option from the card issuing bank.
